OIC extraordinary meeting

Under the directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, arrived in the city of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to participate in the extraordinary ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. 

The work of this meeting will focus on "the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and its attacks on the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran," amid an unprecedented and dangerous escalation of the situation in the Middle East due to the aggressive practices of the Zionist entity on multiple fronts and in more than one arena.

Algeria's participation in this meeting aligns with its efforts and endeavors to support the Palestinian cause, within the framework of its ongoing solidarity with the countries and peoples neighboring Palestine in confronting the blatant aggressions of the Israeli settler occupation. Minister Ahmed Attaf is also expected to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of this meeting with many of his counterparts from the participating Arab and Islamic countries.
