The President of the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) receives a delegation from the Arab Ambassadors' Wives Association (SAWAJ).
The Society of Wives of Arab Ambassadors in Japan (SWAAJ) recently visited the headquarters of the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) last week in Tokyo to present a donation in support of Lebanon.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Atsushi Seike, Chairman of the JRCS.
Representing SWAAJ, the President, who is the spouse of the Ambassador of Palestine , Mrs Maali Siam, accompanied by the Vice President, Mrs. Houda Boulahbel, the spouse of the Ambassador of Algeria as well as the spouse of the Libanese Ambassador , Mrs Nancy Nidhal and the spouse of the Syrian Chargé d'Affaires , Mrs. Amanda Ilji.
It is worth noting that the Japanese Red Cross Society is one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the world. It was established on May 1, 1877, and its honorary president is Her Majesty the Empress of Japan
