The Algerian Embassy in Japan commemorates the Victory Day

The Embassy of Algeria in Tokyo commemorated today the 63^rd anniversary of Victory Day of March 19. On this occasion, members of the Embassy observed a minute of silence and recited the Fatiha in memory of the valiant martyrs of the national liberation war. On this occasion, the Chargé d'affaires ad interim delivered a speech recalling the importance of this day in the history of Algeria, praising the quality of the Algerian negotiators of the GPRA who faced multiple French maneuvers, and ultimately led to the signing of the Evian Accords which enshrined the independence of Algeria, its territorial integrity and the recovery of its sovereignty over its entire territory.
