The Embassy of Algeria in Tokyo commemorates the 71 anniversary of the glorious revolution of November 1, 1954

The Embassy of Algeria in Tokyo hosted an official reception on November 13, 2025, at the Ambassador's residence, to commemorate the 71 anniversary of the glorious revolution of November 1, 1954, under the slogan "A Message to Generations." Numerous Japanese officials and dignitaries, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Tokyo, as well as representatives of the media, intellectuals and researchers among the friends of Algeria, and members of the Algerian community, attended.

On this occasion, Mr. Toufik Milat, Ambassador of Algeria to Japan, delivered a speech in which he highlighted Japan's support for Algeria during its national struggle for the liberation, in particuler through the opening of a representative office of the National Liberation Front (FLN) in Tokyo in September 1958, and praised the cooperative relations that have linked the two countries since the 1960s.
