The Embassy of Algeria in Japan commemorates the Immigration Day

Under the slogan "Solidarity and Commitment," and in the presence of members of the Algerian diplomatic mission in Tokyo, the Algerian Embassy in Tokyo commemorated today the 64^th anniversary of Immigration Day, relating to the massacres of October 17, 1961.

On this occasion, the Fatiha was recited in memory of the martyrs of Algeria, and a minute of silence was observed. The Ambassador also delivered a speech recalling the great sacrifices made by Algerians abroad, particularly in France, and their significant contribution to Algeria's liberation from colonial rule.
