Lecture on the rock carvings of the Tassili N'Ajjer

The Japan-Algeria Friendship Association, in coordination with the Algerian Embassy in Tokyo, organized a lecture by the japanese photographer Takayuki Hanafusa, showcasing his photographic works of the rock carvings at the Tassili N'Ajjer archaeological site, taken during his many visits to Algeria, particularly to this UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982. Mr. Hanafusa presented several explanations on the historical and human value of the world's oldest open-air museum. The lecture attracted many members of the Japan-Algeria Friendship Association, who expressed their admiration for this site and its historical value.
