As part of efforts to take care of the concerns of members of the Algerian community living abroad and to facilitate their entry into the country and return to their usual residence, on the occasion of this year's summer season, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad and, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, informs Algerian citizens residing abroad and holding valid foreign passports that, exceptionally, they may enter and leave the country without a visa until 31 October 2024, in one of two cases: 

1. The presentation of a valid foreign passport with an electronic biometric national identity card, even if expired, 

2 The presentation of a valid foreign passport with an expired Algerian biometric passport.

To ensure the smooth running of this operation, members of our national community abroad benefiting from these facilities must use the same documents when entering and leaving the national territory.
