The Arougas Folk Arts Troupe from Djanet performed the Tuareg dance of courage and freedom, representing Algerian heritage, Saharan culture, and Nili costumes at the Expo 2025 Osaka World Expo in Japan, as part of the Food and Shelter Thematic Week, which runs from June 9 to 15, 2025. Visitors, particularly Japanese, were delighted by the rhythms and chants of the ancestral Tuareg people.
