President Tebboune congratulates Bassirou Diomaye Faye on his election as new President of Senegal

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulated Senegal’s newly elected President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, affirming Algeria’s willingness to bolster friendship relations and boost bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples, the Presidency of the Republic indicated in a statement on Wednesday.

The statement said: “Today, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulated Senegal’s newly elected President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, expressing on behalf of the Algerian people and government his sincere wishes for success in carrying out his noble duties. President Tebboune affirmed Algeria’s willingness to bolster friendship relations and boost bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.”
