Attaf receives phone call from his Lebanese counterpart

On August 21, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the sisterly Republic of Lebanon, Mr. Abdullah Bouhabib.

On this occasion, the Lebanese Minister began by renewing his gratitude and appreciation to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for his solidarity, support, and standing by Lebanon during its difficult circumstances by deciding to supply this brotherly country with a shipment of fuel to operate power plants. He pointed out that this valuable initiative was highly appreciated and widely resonated among all segments of the Lebanese people.

Minister Abdullah Bouhabib also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for Algeria's efforts and endeavors at the United Nations Security Council in defending Lebanon's positions, vital interests, and territorial sovereignty in the face of repeated Israeli aggressions on its land.
