ALGERIA-TUNISIA-LIBYA CONSULTATIVE MEETING: ARRIVAL OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC IN TUNIS

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, arrived in Tunis on Monday to take part in the 1st Consultative Meeting bringing together the leaders of Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.

The visit of the President of the Republic comes at the invitation of his brother the President of the Tunisian Republic, brother country, Mr. Kaïs Saïed, who welcomed him at Carthage International Airport.During the welcoming ceremony, the two presidents listened to the national anthems of the two countries before reviewing a detachment of the Tunisian Honor Guard, which paid them the honors.

The President of the Republic is accompanied in his visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf.The President of the Republic had left Algiers earlier in the day, heading for Tunis. He was greeted on his departure from Houari-Boumediene International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Nadir Larbaoui, and the Chief of Staff of the People's National Army (ANP), Army General Saïd Chanegriha .
