Under the slogan "Independence: A legacy for Future Generations," the Embassy of Algeria in Tokyo commemorated the 64th anniversary of Independence Day (5 July 1962–2026).

On this historic and memorable occasion, the national anthem was performed, and Al-Fatiha was recited in tribute to the souls of our valiant martyrs. His Excellency Ambassador Toufik MILAT delivered an address highlighting the importance and symbolism of this historic day, recalling the immense sacrifices made by our righteous martyrs and our noble Moudjahidine.
