Members of the Japan-Algeria Friendship Association discover Algeria’s traditional culinary arts

A demonstration on tranditional Algerian cuisine was held on 25 September 2026 at the residence of the Algerian Ambassador in Tokyo, presented by Ms MILAT, Spouse of the Ambassador, for members of the Japan-Algeria Friendship Association. The participants greatly enjoyed the traditional Algerian dishes and delicacies (Couscous/Mesfouf, H’mis, Khobz eddar, Harissa and M’halbi, etc.) that were presented to them and asked many questions about how and on what occasions these dishes are prepared in Algeria.
