Entry of LiNKX, a company founded by M. Osamnia, Algerian young entrepreneur, into the Tokyo Stock Exchange

Mr. Toufik Milat, Ambassador of Algeria to Tokyo, attended a ceremony marking the listing of LiNKX on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), a company owned by a young Algerian entrepreneur, Mr. Mohamed Osamnia. LiNKX is a startup specializing in artificial intelligence and employs approximately 120 staff members and senior executives.

This historic event is the first of its kind, as no Algerian or African national has previously succeeded in listing a company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This achievement is particularly noteworthy given the very limited number of companies that have been able to gain access to this global stock exchange and the complexity of its listing requirements.

On this occasion, the Ambassador had the opportunity to encourage Mr. Osamnia to contribute to Algeria’s development efforts, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Osamnia expressed his strong interest and full readiness to support such initiatives.
