National Day of the Mujahid, commemorating the dual anniversary of the North Constantinois offensives and the Soummam Congress (August 20, 1955 / 1956)

Under the slogan "Remembrance of the Immortals," the Algerian Embassy in Tokyo celebrated "Mujahid Day," which symbolizes the double anniversary of the historic day of August 20, that coincides with two prominent events in the Algerian Revolution: the attacks in northern Constantine in 1955 and the Soummam Congress in 1956.

On this occasion, Ambassador Toufik Milat presided over the commemoration ceremony, where the national anthem was played, the Fatiha was recited, and a minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs.
